Kanger Valley National Park - Kanger Valley National Park is set at about 33 kms from Jagdalpur and is home to caves, a variety of wildlife and some waterfalls are set around it. Entry into the National Park is permitted form Netanar and Kotamsar barriers. Kanger Valley National Park is less recommended for wildlife enthusiasts and more as a nature centric excursion.
Chitrakoot Falls - Chitrakoot falls is also referred as the Niagara Falls of India and has got the distinction of being the broadest waterfall in India. Tirathgarh Falls - Tirathgarh falls are located at 38 km from Jagdalpur at the entrance of Kanger Valley National Park. The falls have a height of 100 feet. There is even a popular Shiva temple here having a backdrop of the waterfalls which is well visited by locals.
Kotumsar Caves and Kailash Caves - Kotumsar Caves and Kailash Caves are set inside Kanger Valley National park. Kotumsar Caves are one of the longest natural caves in the world (more than 1 km). Kailash Caves are relatively smaller and more recently discovered.
